healing properties. Medicinal herbs may be prepared from several parts of a
plant including its roots, bark, sap, or leaf, or the flowers. ential . (i.e.
licorice root, wild cherry bark, etc.) Herbs are also used for many things in
our society, including food flavoring, dyes, food, teas, and patented drugs.
Ancient aboriginal civilizations, however, have been using medicinal herbs for
thousands of years to cure and prevent ailments.
What is a liquid extract?
A liquid herbal extract is a concentrated liquid solution made from extracting
the herbal plant alkaloids from the herbal mash of a given herbal formula. This
extracted liquid preserves the various herbal compounds in a preserved herbal
liquid that can be taken internally for higher effectiveness while it enters
the blood stream faster. The liquid typically used to make the an extract is
either grain alcohol or glycerin.
What is a homeopathic medicine?
Homeopathy is a method of medical treatment that stimulates the body's own natural
defenses and healing processes in order to cure ailments. Homeopathy has no
medicine for the name of a disease. Each patient is treated according to his
or her individual disease symptoms, which can differ throughout an illness or
from one person to another. In other words, homeopathy treats the patient and
not the disease.
What is a vibrational medicine?
Vibrational medicine, or "energy medicine", is based upon the use/treatment
of complex patterns of electromagnetic energy contained in potentized substances.
These energy medicines are then used in treating various disorders. Through
this technique, electromagnetic fields within an individual's body can be to
restore to balance. Homeopathic remedies, flower essences (including Deva Flower
Remedies), mineral elixirs, and radionic substances are all part of this system
of health care.
How are basic herbal extracts prepared?
An herbal extract is prepared from any combination of herbal leaves, bark, roots,
seeds, plant flowers, etc. The plant or tree parts are mixed together in containers
in which the extracting liquids, such as alcohol, vinegar, or glycerin are used
as a solvent for extracting the vital nutrients from the plant and tree parts.
Usually extraction will take place over a period of at least two weeks along
with daily shaking of the steeping preparation. The finished herbal extract
will be prepared by squeezing the extracted solution in a press under great
pressure, thus separating the liquid extract from the herbal mash. For a potent
finished liquid extract, it is typically prepared anywhere from 28 to 42 ounces
of dried herb along with the proper amount of aqueous solvent for preparation
of a gallon of liquid. The aqueous solution is commonly grain alcohol and water.
What is the shelf life of the Herbal Drops?
Our herbals have a five-year shelf life, though they can maintain their potency
much longer than five years when the bottle is unopened. Once opened, the freshness
of the herbal can vary based on temperature and direct light.
How are basic flower essences prepared?
A basic flower essence is prepared from the pure sun tincture of a particular
medicinal flower. The flowers are carefully taken from the tree or plant and
placed in a crystal bowl full of fresh spring water exposed as close as possible
to the noonday sun. The flowers are then left in the bowl until tiny air bubbles
form around the flower stems and on the crystal bowl. The sun tincture liquid
is then carefully removed from the bowl with a dropper into a one ounce amber
bottle until half full. The remaining half of the bottle is then topped off
with pure brandy.
How long can I keep a bottle of Deva Flowers and will the remedy still work?
Our Flower Remedies have a three-year shelf life. After being opened they should
be used within a year or a little longer based on how and where they are stored.

Deva Flower Remedy FAQ
Deva Flowers are a group of homeopathic-style blended flower essences for treating
certain adverse emotional, psychological, and/or mental states. The Deva Flower
Remedies FAQ answers many of our customers' most common questions over the years.
Please contact us if your question is not answered.
How do Deva Flowers differ from homeopathic medicines?
They differ by the method of potentization and the way each is used and prescribed.
A process of precise dilution and shaking called succession potentizes homeopathic
substances. This can result in potentized amplifications of well over 12X, 30X,
200X, etc. (Each "X" represents 1/10 dilution. 6X dilution is, then, 1/1,000,000
of the original substance.) Statically speaking, at 30X or above, there aren't
any molecules remaining of the original substance and only the vibrational energy
pattern remains.
A somewhat modified process is used to prepare Deva Flowers Remedies resulting
in remedies having an approximate potentization of homeopathic 5X. Deva Flower
Remedies are usually used for emotional and mental conditions (i.e., emotional
and psychological states), while homeopathic medicine is used for treatment
of an individual patients disease.
What are the Bach Flowers?
The Bach flowers (1) are a flower essence system of thirty-eight flower essences
prepared from English flowers. They are used for balancing and clearing specific
mental states. This system of flower essences discovered by Dr. Edward Bach
(pronounced 'Ba-che'), in the 1930's revolutionized this type of alternative
therapy. Dr. Bach was a licensed doctor, bacteriologist and homeopathic physician.
His research, including a thirty-ninth remedy called Rescue Remedy (2) (a composite
formula), has been clinically tested extensively in both Europe and the United
States during the past 60 years. Listed in the Official English Homeopathic
Pharmacoepia, the Bach Flowers and other flower essences have unequivocally
established the correlation between disturbed mental/emotional states and physical
disease.

Are Deva Flowers similar to the Bach Flowers?
The Deva Flowers Remedies are uniquely different than the Bach essences because
each remedy is formulated (blended). Deva Flowers differ in their method of
potentization and blending by bringing together selected single flower essences
that, when combined synergistically, treat generalized mental and emotional
disorders with easy to understand labeling. Additionally, our experience has
shown that emotional states treated by composite remedies (blended). The Deva
Flower Remedies unite American essences with all the English essences.
What is the best way to take the Deva Flowers?
For greatest ease and effectiveness, place three drops under the tongue to equal
a single dose. Hold the liquid under the tongue for approximately two minutes
as it enters the blood stream. Be careful not to touch the glass dropper since
that can contaminate the remedy and cause it to go bad. Repeat as often as needed
till results are attained.
Can I prepare a separate treatment bottle with several of the Deva Flower
Remedies?
Yes, you can put seven drops from each of up to three different remedy bottles
into a new bottle. The new bottle can be a one or two-ounce amber dropper bottle
or larger, filled with around 80% spring water and 20% brandy.
Can I use the Deva Flowers in my bath?
Yes, they can be effective when used while bathing. For maximum effectiveness,
put 21 drops into the bath water and submerge at least 75% of your body into
the water for a minimum of 15 minutes.
I am alcohol sensitive. Is there another way to take the Deva Flowers?
Yes, however the amount of alcohol in the Deva Flower Remedies is already greatly
reduced compared to other flower essences on the market. If you are allergic
or prefer not to ingest any alcohol, you can use several drops of the remedy
to moisten the lips, place several drops behind the ears, or rub the liquid
on the inside of the wrists. The best option if the taste is the problem would
be to prepare a separate treatment bottle with seven drops of the remedy added
to an eight-ounce (plus) container filled with pure spring water. Shake the
bottle vigorously to potentize it. The alcohol will remain, but will be impossible
to taste.
Is First-Aid Remedy as effective as Rescue Remedy (1)?
Yes. First-Aid Remedy is prepared with the identical flower essences and in
a manner similar to that of Rescue Remedy. Experience with First-Aid Remedy
has shown it to be a most effective emergency remedy for all types of situations,
including extreme stress resulting from trauma, injuries, accidents, terror,
etc. Many customers have claimed that First-Aid Remedy is stronger than Rescue
Remedy.
1 'Rescue Remedy' is a Registered Trademark of Nelson Bach USA Ltd.
If a person is injured and unable to swallow, is there a way to treat with
Deva Flowers?
Yes, the Deva Flowers can also be used to moisten the lips, or placed behind
the ears and on the inside of the wrists. The effectiveness is almost as good
as placing a remedy directly into the mouth.
Are Deva Flowers safe to take with other medicines?
Yes, completely. Deva Flowers do not affect, nor are they affected by, the action
of any other herbs, medicines, or foods that are active in your system. Nevertheless,
to ensure the strongest results, the Deva Flowers should be taken before or
after ten minutes after eating, taking herbals, or other medicines. The amount
of alcohol is negligible in terms of any drug interactions if the dosage on
the bottle is followed.
Can Deva Flowers be used safely to treat pregnant women?
Because Deva Flowers are free of any side effects, they can cause no direct
or indirect harm to the fetus or mother. Deva Flowers have been used extensively
by both pregnant women and lactating mothers for more than 28 years.
Can all children use the Deva Flowers safely?
Yes. Since the Deva Flowers are free of any side effects, they can cause no
direct or indirect harm to children of any age, including newborns. In the case
of newborns, one drop of Deva Flowers as a dose is sufficient.
Can Deva Flowers be used to help pets and other animals?
Yes, they have been used extensively on many animals, including cats, dogs,
birds, and even horses. Animals have emotions similar to those of humans and
respond equally well to the Deva Flowers. The best method to treat them is by
adding seven drops to their water.
I seem to need many Deva Flower Remedies. How many can I take at once?
Based upon recent experience, it is recommended that most people use no more
than three Deva Flower Remedies at the same time for maximum effectiveness.
Exceptions to this rule include products that are used in acute cases, like
Fearfulness for panic, First-Aid Remedy for trauma, Cold Relief Remedy for a
cold, etc.
Can I experience a physical reaction, while taking Deva Flowers?
Yes. Some people have reported experiencing unusually rapid changes and result
after taking flower remedies for the first time. This reaction may be due to
a person's need to have a rapid release, such as sometimes occurs because of
intense grief or intense emotions.
I have many emotional conditions. How do I determine which Deva Flower
to take first?
The most frequently experienced or strongest adverse mental state, stress, or
emotion is the first product you should reach for. If they're to many emotions
or stresses affecting your life, try applying a weighting factor to each of
your adverse emotions. Based on the intensity of the emotion, rate them from
one to five (five being the least). The feelings with a weight of one should
be treated first.
What if I still can't determine the product I need?
Practitioners can note certain bodily imbalances and can easily identify through
kinesiology, pulse and meridian testing, etc. which products you should be taking,
thus prescribe them. A Deva Flower remedy can cause an immediate improvement
in the pulse, which can be detected by a skilled practitioner.
How do I know if Deva Flowers are really working?
Even though you may not detect any significant changes in your outward feelings,
you can usually experience a better mental outlook over a period of time. You
may sense certain positive changes in your body and mind as you interact with
others. Keeping a journal is always a useful way to gauge progress.
I have physical problems. How can Deva Flowers help?
First, take a look at the adverse emotions you usually associate with your physical
problems, such as anger, anxiety, worry, or fear. Treat these emotions with
the correct Deva Flower Remedy. As you move toward a more positive mental outlook,
you will notice the physical problems decreasing, as well. As other emotions
come up, treat those, too. People have reported that many physical ailments
disappear or become bearable when they treat the associated ensuing emotions.
I just can't understand why Deva Flowers work differently than herbs. How
do they?
Herbals physically while flower essences work on the mind. Deva Flowers are
strong vibrational remedies that balance the subtle electromagnetic fields surrounding
and interacting with the physical body (sometimes called the ethereal body).
Deva flowers are initially assimilated into the circulatory system because of
the alcohol solution that preserves them. Their energy then flows toward the
nervous system and acts on the life force fields that connect these two systems
with the mind and emotions. Herbs act on the physical body by providing the
nutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, hormones, etc.) for tissue,
organ, and circulatory system healing.
Do Deva Flowers work with people who don't believe in their benefits?
When a person fails to understand or accept how the Deva Flowers work, they
will often work to the same degree. It is true that the free will of an individual
with a strongly negative belief system could override the effects of flower
remedies. It depends on the individual and that is why we offer our 30-Day 100%
guarantee.
How long can I take the Deva Flowers? Will one bottle be enough?
You can take the Deva Flowers as long as necessary without any side effects
or harm. Usually one bottle will be enough to start an emotional or mental change,
but additional bottles can be continued for emotional health maintenance if
necessary. As a general rule, as with all homeopathic medicines, the remedy
should be taken until an improvement in noticed. In chronic conditions, long-term
treatment may be required before symptoms or adverse emotions subside.
What can I do to obtain the maximum effect from the Deva Flowers?
Deva Flowers, associated with a particular condition, can be amplified in a
number of ways including: 1) Creative visualization and meditation about the
results to be achieved, 2) active use of affirmations (personal ones or the
suggested positive thought listed in the Deva Flower Brochure), 3) sipping from
a remedy bottle in a glass of water or juice all day, 4) holding a remedy dose
in your mouth, under your tongue for 30 seconds or more, 5) maintaining faith
that a higher power will aid you in affecting a personal change, and 6) shaking
the remedy bottle ten times before each dose will increase the effect. Together
or singly, these methods will greatly enhance the effects of the remedies that
you take.
Do Deva Flowers create permanent changes in people?
Yes, they do enhance the opportunity to create permanent changes in both the
personality and psyche, but only if the person does not choose to slip back
into former habits. With continued use a permanent change can and has taken
place in thousands of people using the Deva Flower Remedies.
What would happen if I took too much of a Flower Remedy?
The recommended dosage of a Deva Flower, as mentioned on the label, is three
drops per dose. If you take more than the recommended dosage at a time it will
not diminish the effects at all. No matter how much you take at a time there
will never be any negative side effects.
Are there any foods or substances that I might take or have in my body that
would reduce the effects of Deva Flowers?
Yes, certain toxins, such as aluminum or heavy metals, steroids, and some drugs,
can partially block the effectiveness a remedy. The lack of vitamin B, iron,
and calcium in the system will also tend to weaken the effectiveness of a flower
remedy. Large amounts of caffeine and alcohol in the body will also interfere
with the effects of Deva Flowers. In general, strong odors (i.e. essential oils,
etc.) will all interfere with vibrational medicine. Using remedy enhancement
techniques can more than offset any loss of effect due to substances taken into
the body or already present in the body. When in doubt, use Cleansing Remedy
first before starting a program of Deva Flower essences.

Red Earth Herbals FAQ
The Red Earth Herbal Drops are liquid herbal extracts used as traditional herbal
medicine. Read the Red Earth Herbal FAQ for the answers to questions our customers
have asked over the years. Please contact us if your question is not answered.
What are herbs and what are they used for?
Herbs are plants that have been harvested for their medicinal properties. These
have been used over thousands of years by native cultures globally for their
healing properties. Medicinal herbs may be prepared from several parts of a
plant including its roots, bark, sap, or leaf, or the flowers (i.e. licorice
root, wild cherry bark, etc.). Herbs are also used for many things in our society,
including food flavoring, dyes, food, teas, and patented drugs. Ancient aboriginal
civilizations, however, have been using medicinal herbs for thousands of years
to cure and prevent ailments.
What are Red Earth Herbal Drops?
The Red Earth Herbal Drops are liquid herbal concentrates used for holistic
healing. Each product is made, whether singly or in blended form, with specifically
selected pharmaceutical quality botanicals (predominately organic or ecologically
wild-crafted) from the four corners of the world. The blended Herbal Drops are
herbal concentrates prepared from unusual formulations for treating a wide spectrum
of health conditions. The singles make up fourteen individual herbal extracts
All are designed to be used as nutritional supplements. We prepare these through
our special cold process, along with a proprietary herbal enhancement methodology,
to achieve the highest possible quality and potency.
What is the best way to take the Red Earth Herbals?
For greatest ease and effectiveness, "shoot" the liquid extract down your throat
or place the recommended number of drops directly under the tongue. If holding
the liquid under the tongue, wait a few minutes as it enters the blood stream.
Be careful not to touch the glass dropper. Repeat as often as recommended on
the label, until results are attained. If taste is a problem, there herbal extract
can be added to orange juice, water, or another liquid.
What is the purpose of alcohol in your extracts?
Alcohol is used as a solvent to extract the herbal alkaloids from the blended
herbal mash. It is the most effective, safe, and editable form of extraction.
With the exception of glycerin, which can also be used, alcohol allows the herbal
compounds to enter the blood stream quicker than any other option.
Your Herbal Drops are all alcohol based. I cannot have alcohol. What do
you suggest?
Alcohol is used in liquid extracts because of its superior qualities for herbal
delivery and preservation. The alcohol actually consumed in the normal daily
dosages is much less than 5% of an average alcoholic beverage. For those who
cannot take alcohol, for whatever reason, can put your recommended dose in a
cup of warm tea or orange juice to mask the taste. Unfortunately it is difficult
to remove the alcohol component of the Red Earth Herbal Drops without compromising
the effectiveness and speed it enters the blood stream. We do have two non-alcoholic
products, Cold Balm and Lobelia Leaf, which are vinegar based.
How much alcohol am I consuming in a dose?
Extracts that contain high percentages of alcohol have very little alcohol per
dosage since ten drops are the standard dosage. So the amount of alcohol actually
consumed is very low. All Red Earth Herbal Drops average 35% grain alcohol per
volume. With a normal dose of ten drops in eight ounces of water, the resulting
alcohol content is less than 0.10%. This is equivalent to moistening your lips
with an average alcoholic beverage (beer or wine).
Why do Herbal Drops have the fastest assimilation over other forms of herbal
products?
Tablets and capsules are fully assimilated in the intestinal tract only when
digestion is normal and intestinal encrustation does not exist. Anyone that
healthy would probably not require herbal supplementation. Normally, tablets
and capsules are only partially assimilated. Teas are easily assimilated as
long as there are no stomach problems. Due to the alcohol content of Herbal
Drops, they are absorbed directly into the bloodstream, beginning in the mouth.
I've been using your Herbal Drops for the prescribed time period. When
do I need to stop?
You can keep taking the Herbal Drops as long as needed to achieve the desired
results. For the best results, we recommend that when you reach the end of the
time period, according to the label or information furnished in the brochure,
that you discontinue the doses for approximately an equal time period. Then
resume using the herbal supplement for the original time period. You can repeat
this cycle until the desired effects have been realized.
Can I take your Herbal Drops with my medication?
Yes, our Herbal Drops will not affect most medicines. The alcohol base, however,
used in the Herbal Drops may interfere with some drugs that you may be taking
or cause side effects. Always check with a health care practitioner before you
start an herbal health program.
Where did the Red Earth formulas originate?
The Red Earth Herbal Drops originated from a variety of sources and herbal traditions.
The early formulas were principally based on North American Native healer's
herbal lore. Over the years these formulas have developed into their current
forms based on many other aboriginal and ancient herbal traditions from around
the world (Chinese, Ayurvedic, Armenian, European, etc.). Our co-founder, Donald
Hall, who learnt his art from these many sources, formulated all the herbal
products personally.
How often can I take the Herbal Drops?
Some Herbal Drops, such as Cold Balm, Congest-Ease, High Energy, Nature's Antiseptic,
and Wild Lettuce/Valerian, can be taken quite frequently (up to eight to ten
times per day). For others, the recommended frequency is three to four times
per day. Herbs are accumulated in the body. If dosages are taken less frequently,
they will have to be taken longer for the same effects.
How was the dose listed on the bottle determined?
The suggested dose, as listed on the label for each bottle, is calculated for
a person weighing 125 to 150 pounds. For heavier or lighter individuals, the
dose should be adjusted accordingly. Small children should receive about one-fourth
of the suggested amount. Experience has shown that when you are first starting
a new herbal remedy, a larger initial dose (about 20 to 25 drops) will help
boost its effectiveness.
Can Red Earth Herbal Drops be taken at the same time as the Deva Flowers?
Yes and no. They can be taken together without any problems or reduction of
performance, however, to ensure the highest effectiveness it would be best to
take the Deva Flowers and Herbal Drops five to ten minutes apart.
Why do extracts assimilate faster compared to herbal tablets and powdered
capsules?
Tablets and capsules are fully assimilated in the intestinal tract only when
digestion is perfect and over time. Typically digestion is not that efficient
thus tablets and capsules are only partially assimilated. Due to the alcohol
content of liquid extracts as a solvent, the herbal alkaloids are absorbed directly
into the bloodstream beginning in the mouth.
I've been taking your Joint-Ease and feeling pains in my joints. What is
wrong?
You are experiencing the result of a breakdown of calcium in the joints. However,
the process does not have to be painful. We recommend that you reduce the dosage
until pain is no longer experienced. You may still experience pain from time
to time, yet it should be manageable. If it isn't, then discontinue the use
of Joint-Ease for a few days and start again, slowly working up to the recommended
dosage.
What is standardization and why are our liquid extracts not standardized?
Standardization typically means that an extract was extracted and tested for
a specific amount of a given chemical component or chemical group. The problem
with this method is that this one chemical may or may not be the active constituent.
Research has shown that single compounds do not have the same desired effects
since an individual herb can have hundreds of synergistic compounds. Rather
than focusing on a single compound, our products focus on the entire botanical.
Each Red Earth Herbal Drop extract contains thousands of naturally occurring
compounds blended synergistically that have effects of traditional herbal medicine.
Standardization is, in this way, often a marketing technique for enhancing
the product in the minds of the public. A good traditional herbal extract cannot
be standardized.
